The directors and responsibles for ICT in Latin American universities are invited to respond the survey "II Study on the Maturity of ICT Governance in the Universities of Latin America" published this Wednesday, June 20 at http://encuesta-reditic.redclara.net. The deadline to answer closes on August 12.
The study, promoted by RedCLARA and the National Research and Education Networks (NREN) that integrates it, through the RediTIC community (Network of Technology Directors of Latin American Universities), seeks to reveal the current situation of Latin American universities regards the level of governance maturity of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). "Our objective is to recognize the progress from the first study, pending issues and identify strengthening actions to advance in the incorporation of these types of strategies", explains Marcela Larenas, Manager of Relations and Cooperation of RedCLARA.
The detailed results will be delivered to each of the people who answer the survey on which the study will be developed and will also be presented during the TICAL2018 Conference and the 2nd Latin American e-Science Meeting, to be held in Cartagena de Indias, between September 3 and 5, 2018.
RedCLARA guarantees that the information provided through the survey is confidential, and that it will be used in accordance to an internal security and integrity policy. The final document with the results obtained will be available to the people who respond to the survey.
